As a relative of a Snowbird (who has family members who travel from Canada to Florida every year), it's often difficult to know what to send to a loved one when living so far away from them. I like the idea of sending flowers to my mum and she loves to receive them. The shop I've been using is Ann's Flowers, and it never disappoints me.
Their online store is well organised, easy to browse and they have a broad selection of arrangements, prices, types of flowers, and edibles, (from Godiva chocolates, Starbucks to stuffed animals). They have also been quite accommodating and always make an extra effort to get my order on a same day delivery, (even when I have called at noon!). They have a great range of prices and their entry-level/regular bouquets are great in quality and price.
Ordered Flowers thru Teleflora this place filled the order it was nothing like what I ordered... not even close... I understand substitutions from website pictures but this was just a mess I have never seen an uglier bouquet of flowers and the container was appalling. I paid for the premium bouquet with more flowers and barely got the standard. Then to top it off the delivery was a day late and the driver was very rude.
Got a mother's day bouquet I thought was pretty. Sent a picture of it to my sender and she sent me what it was supposed to look like. The flowers were not the same as in the picture of what was ordered They used much cheaper flowers than what was supposed to be in it. It was not arranged at all like the picture either. The sender called Ann's to let them know it was not right and the owner hung up on her. Will never use Ann's flowers again.
