We camp here with the my sons boy scout troop. A good place to camp.
Great place if you want to get out of the city and into nature. Lots of wildlife and trees.
There were no trail maps to navigate the park. A paved road in would be great. The park was clean and trails were groomed. It would have been nice to have known what the numbers marked on the trail meant.
This is a great river to fish on . Today one after another Being pulled in . Thats just today . Day before yesterday went out for a couple if hours and caught a red drum about 30 lbs. That was the big prize of the day. Besides a couple of other fish as well. That is my husband who did the fishing, I just do the reading and the relaxing. And of course the wowing .
Beautiful State park with a 1 1/2 miles nature trail along the bay. Kayak and paddle board rentals on site.
