We had a leak in our roof that appeared to be located around the chimney. We called two roofing companies, one being Kirkey. Kirkey assessed the condition and determined that the flashing around the chimney stack had been improperly cut when the home was re-roofed some 9 years ago by a previous roofing company. The roofing crew was professional, clean and quiet and replaced the flashing so that it would function correctly. Unfortunately, after the flashing and surrounding shingles were repaired we had no rain to test the fix. So a few weeks later, and as a real testament for service after the sale, Kirkey came out on their own time and tested the fix by flushing the repaired area using a garden hose. NO LEAK!! When it is time for a new roof, I know who we will be calling.
I called Kirkey on 9/13 to see if they could put a tarp on part of our roof after hurricaine Irma came through. A tree had fallen on it and our association took down the tree and suggested a tarp be placed there until an adjuster came out. On 9/14 I called back because Kirkey never got back to me, they said they would call back. On 9/15 they finally called back and said their liability insurance does not allow them to tarp anyones roof. Shouldn't someone who answers the phone know that info on day 1. Kirkey handles many different types of jobs, repair and new. Mostly for tile roofs, and has always done and excellent job.
I had them come out because I thought I might have had leak from a hard rain storm. They did a complete inspection and found that everything was alright. They didn't try to sell me any thing, I will call them out next time I need a good roofer.
We called Kirkey Roofing one morning after walking into our office after a rainy weekend to a puddle of water on the floor and our celing tiles wet.
